Born in 1995, Débora Silva grew up in a large family of artisans in northern Portugal. Her close relationship with various crafts sparked a desire for self-expression through creation.



Débora's formative years were spent in Porto, a city of ancient history that continues to reinvent itself, and this has greatly influenced her artistic style. She later studied sculpture at Fine Arts in Lisbon, shortly after moved to London and a few years later to Berlin, which contributed to shaping the artistic work now entirely recognisable as her own.
